How Do I Set Identity Settings for my Local Account?

You can set identity settings for the messages in your inbox. The identity settings provides user details.

To set your identity settings, perform the following steps:

  1. Expand the Identities node from the Mail options from the left pane.

    The Identities node expands with a list of all available identities on your WebMail account.

  2. Select the identity to update.

    Select Local Account to set the account preferences for the local account that is configured for WebMail. The Local Account tab appears on the central panel.

  3. Type the following under the Identity Settings section.

    • Display Name. This option cannot be edited.

    • Email Address. This option cannot be edited.

    • Reply-to Address. To set your replies to other email address, type the email address you want your email replies to be sent.

  4. Type the Signature that you want to associate with this identity in the Signature text area.

    Select the Add the signature to every message you compose checkbox to include this signature at the end of every email.

  5. Type the vCard information in the vCard section.

    The following options are displayed:

    • Name: You can provide the following details:

      • Title

      • Suffix

      • First Name

      • Middle Name

      • Last Name

      • Display Name

      • Job TitleCompany

      • Company

      • Department

      • Home Page

    • Email: You can provide the following details:

      • Work

      • Home

    • Phone: You can provide the following details.

      • Work

      • Home

      • Mobile

      • Fax

      • Pager

    • Address: You can provide the following details:

      • Street

      • City

      • Zip/Postal Code

      • Country

  6. (Optional) Select the check box labeled Add the vCard to every message you compose to add the vCard.

  7. Click Save Preferences.

    The Options Updated pop up window appears indicating that your messages are saved.

  8. Click OK.
